- Heat both refined and olive oil in a wide & heavy bottom stock pot
- Maintain medium flame and add the chopped onions and garlic together
- Keep sauteing the onion garlic until it truns translusent
- Once the onions and garlic turns translusent simmer the flame and add the kashmiri chilli powder
- Mix well in the simmer flame until the bright red color got extrated and absorbed by the onions
- Now add both fresh and packaged tomato puree and bring boil
- Add salt, sugar, fresh basil leaves and maintian medium flame and mix the sauce for every 30 seconds
- Simmer and cook for 30-45mins until the oil seperates from the sauce
- Heat little oil in a sauce pan and temper the dried oregano leaves
- Add this tempering immediately to the sauce mix well and check the seasoning
