If you’ve ever wondered about the Kaju Katli recipe preparation steps, you’re in for a delightful experience. To begin your culinary journey, gather the essential ingredients: finely powdered cashews, sugar, and a few cardamom pods for flavor. The first step is to roast the cashew powder on low heat for a minute to enhance its aroma. Next, prepare a sugar syrup by dissolving sugar in water, ensuring that it reaches a one-string consistency. This is a crucial step; if the syrup isn’t prepared correctly, the texture of your Kaju Katli could be affected. Once the syrup is ready, mix in the roasted cashew powder and stir continuously until the mixture forms a dough-like consistency.
After your mixture comes together, transfer it to a greased surface and let it cool slightly. The next in the Kaju Katli recipe preparation steps involves rolling out the mixture to your desired thickness. Traditionally, Kaju Katli is cut into diamond-shaped pieces for that authentic touch. For an added flair, you can garnish your sweets with silver or gold leaf. Allow the pieces to set before indulging in this rich and decadent treat.
